"I love my career first and foremost because I love working with people and am passionate about hair. When I can make a client's face lighten up about their finished look, it is better than any paycheck (well, almost!).

Doing hair is part art, part science, and part relationship building. I enjoy being in a career that helps people look and feel better about themselves."

"I take particular pride in my communication skills. The consultation is the most important part of your color or cut. As a professional, it is my responsibility to make recommendations, but ultimately it is you who looks in the mirror every morning."

"I started my career as an apprentice in a Bumble and Bumble salon in northern New Jersey. Over the years as a hair stylist, I have continued to push myself creatively by taking advanced classes in Canada and Washington D. C., as well as various in-state and in-salon continuing education. "
